Welcome to First Vision Traders, where I want to focus on sharing my journey, my watchlists, my trades, and anything else that makes sense regarding day trading as a retail trader working through the struggles of trading. I want this blog to be a place for sharing and certainly not advising. I intend to share my watchlist as often as I can, but it is only my personal watchlist of stocks I am watching with levels I have identified. I'd like to also share my trades, essentially acting as a trade log to tell the story of each of my trades. This way I am not the only one benefiting as not only I, but we, identify what is working and what is not. I hope that this grows into a place where others can share their own trades and opinions on what stocks to watch. My main goal of starting this blog is to allow all of us to learn and grow as traders, together.

I will NEVER attempt to sell you a guaranteed strategy, because there isn't one and every person benefits most from a different strategy. I also do not intend on ever selling educational courses or subscriptions. If anything, I might direct you elsewhere for paid subscriptions and courses. However, I may write a post regarding certain strategies or educational elements that I believe to be true and things that I have learned through my education and journey.

A bit about me is that I do have a full time job, and yes, I do trade equities. My work affords me the opportunity to be flexible and I have found that I trade best in the first hour of the session anyway. I do work mostly remote right now, so I also have the ability to watch the market while I am working and if I happen to notice a position I want to open, I can do that. The most important information you are likely looking for is how long I have been trading. I must preface this with pure honesty and let you know that I am not a profitable trader, there have been months where I have shifted back to paper trading, and times where I did no trading at all. With that, I started this journey in 2021 and it has been quite the ride. Mostly a downhill ride based on my equity curve, but it has certainly been a ride. However, that's part of why I want to share my journey. Because, while we all hear and learn about how something like 98% of retail traders fail, we rarely ever see that side of it. I want to share that, meaning you will see winning trades in my logs as well as losing trades. I will not sugarcoat this journey and I am hopeful that it will help you all to see the reality of trading, while also helping me to journey into the light of profitable trading.

With that said, I wish you all well in your own journey and hope that we can share stories, trades, and knowledge along the way. I leave with one of the most important pieces of this blog and that is a disclaimer regarding the fact that I am NOT a financial advisor and the information on this page is for educational and informational purposes only.
